Eco-Guided Physiotherapy, also known as functional ultrasound evaluation, involves the use of an ultrasound device, allowing the physiotherapist and the patient to monitor the healing process and the effectiveness of the rehabilitation. The physiotherapist uses the ultrasound to work with greater safety and effectiveness by performing a more accurate evaluation and being able to monitor the condition of the involved tissue. This method makes physical therapy more effective, precisely identifying the area to be treated with the guidance of the ultrasound image.It is important to clarify that the physiotherapist never uses this method with the aim of making a clinical diagnosis, which is the exclusive responsibility of the doctor.
The ultrasound is used to support the physiotherapy visit to carry out a functional assessment.
